Our Code reflects who we are and what’s important to us Trust is one of our most valuable assets. And it’s one of the most fragile. One incident, one news story, one careless comment, and the trust we’ve worked so hard to earn can be lost.
That’s why the way we conduct our business is as important as the products we sell.
Our Code of Conduct provides us with the resources and the information we need to operate our business responsibly, to make ethical decisions … to maintain trust. We encourage you to read our policy
Practices of green perspective conserve natural resources, reduce energy consumption, cuts solid waste and minimize the ecological foot-print of a project. By itself, it cannot solve the environmental issues facing our civilization
But is an effective first step toward changing habits, behaviors, and the means with which we imagine ourselves & the economy. It is not an exact science, but it grows daily in terms of innovation & opportunity
By the simple act of choosing, say, a recycled or non-toxic, renewable material, we inspire others..
Practices of Energy Conservation is an inspection and analysis of energy use and flows for energy conservation in a working premises, process or system with an eye toward reducing energy input without negatively affecting output
AT ACE INFOTECH, we have implemented the conservation of energy in general and electricity in particular.
Waste management or waste disposal are all the activities and actions required to manage waste from its inception to its final disposal
AT ACE INFOTECH, we have implemented the systems of collection , segregation and disposal of wastes for efficient Waste Management.
Our Code reflects who we are and what’s important to us
We encourage you to read our policy below

One that considers the well being of the environment-tells a similar story. The story begins with a vague notion of wastefulness & progresses to a profound moment of awareness when we realize the negative impact our profession has on our water: air: and land. When we share our stories-with our friends, classmate, and colleagues: at school, at work over coffee-we spread awareness throughout. That awareness is the seed of change. Practices of green perspective conserve natural resources, reduce energy consumption, cuts solid waste and minimize the ecological foot-print of a project. By itself, it cannot solve the environmental issues facing our civilization. But is an effective first step toward changing habits, behaviors’, and the means with which we imagine ourselves & the economy. It is not an exact science, but it grows daily in terms of innovation & opportunity. By the simple act of choosing, say, a recycled or non-toxic, renewable material, we inspire others.
Adverse effects on forests through over-population & the development of various chemical elements in the atmosphere have led to irregular rainfall & global warming. This global warming has brought changes in climate, including drought, thereby adversely affecting not only human beings but also other living species.
Because of the growth in the population, a large number of trees are cut for fuel, and to reclaim land for agricultural cultivation. This is not simply the destruction of trees but it also means harming what belongs to Human being. Similarly, the continuing decline in forests in many parts of the world, is adversely affecting the already changing global climate, thus upsetting the lives, not only of mankind, but also of all living beings.
We hear about hot temperatures & rising sea levels, increasing cancer rates, vast population growth, depletion of resources, & extinction of species. Human activity everywhere is hastening to destroy key elements of the natural eco-systems all living beings depend on.
The harmful effect on the atmosphere brought about by chemical emissions in industrialized countries is a very dangerous sign. Although this is a new thing for us, the world is paying a lot of attention to this problem. It is the responsibility of us, who speak of the welfare of all sentient beings, to contribute toward this.
These threatening developments are individually drastic and together amazing. The world’s population has tripled in this century alone and is expected to double or triple in the next. The global economy may grow by a factor of five or ten including with it extreme rates of energy consumption, carbon dioxide production, and deforestation. It is hard to imagine all things actually happening in our lifetime and in the lives of our children.
We should extend this attitude to be concerned for our whole environment as a basic principle, at least try not to do harm. This is an especially suitable guide when there is so much yet to understand about the complex in interrelations of diverse and unique eco-systems. The earth is our home and our mother. We need to respect and take care of her. This is easy to understand today.
We need knowledge to care for ourselves, every part of the earth and the life upon it, and all of the future generations as well. This means that education about the environment is of great importance to everyone. Scientific learning and technological progress are essential for improving the quality of life in the modern world.
Ancient cultures that have adapted to their natural surroundings can offer special insights on structuring human societies to exist in balance with the environment. People have long appreciated the presence of wild animals as symbolic of freedom. Learning about the useful ways of people and preserving their cultural heritage is also a part of learning to care for the environment.
Even if we could, there are now so many people that the earth would not sustain us for long. We can share the earth & take care of it together; rather than trying to possess it, destroying the beauty of life in the process. If people begin to act with genuine compassion for everyone, we can still protect each other and the natural environment.
The movement towards a deeper commitment to environmental protection through planting new trees and taking care of the existing ones, is rapidly increasing all over the world. Task of environment protection is a universal responsibility of all of us. In this way, we will be making an important gesture to the world in demonstrating our global concern and at the same time making our own little but significant, contribution to the cause.
2) At ACE Infotech we have established certain procedures within management systems to drive down to employees & suppliers the importance of saving our environment.

3 b . Waste Management & Recycling Program
1) All stationary used at office is used on both side of paper, so that there will be less waste generated.
2) Recycled stationary used for printing of invoices, quotation and visiting cards.
3) Most of the quotations and purchase orders sent through email. Print outs are taken only if it is mandatory.
Yes, we have inventory of Scope 2 GHG emission. However Scope 1 emission is not applicable.
Direct GHG emission occur from sources that are owned or controlled by the company, for example emissions from combustion is owned or controlled boilers, furnace, vehicles etc.,
None of the above are applicable to our company. We also do not own a company vehicle. Hence Scope 1 gases are not applicable.
These emission are indirect emission that are resulting from the generation of electricity heat and steam that are purchased from a federal agency.
(Electricity indirect GHG Emission)
Scope 2 accounts for GHG emissions from the generation of purchased electricity consumed by a company. The Scope 2 gas emission is calculated using the below mentioned.
EF for South India where Ace Infotech is located is EF for south India where Ace Infotech is located in is 0.76. (South India - Power Grid)
Since Hrs x Days x Watts / 1000 = kilowatt hours (kWh) --------> this is for per year
As Per our attachment 5a, the calculation shown between April 2016 to March 2017 total KWH is 4722 KWH
Therefore Scope 2 Gas emission from April March 2016 - 2017 = 4722(KWH) x 0.76 = 3572 GHG
Similarly Scope 2 gas for 2017-2018=3702 (KWH) x 1076 = 2813 GHG
On comparison clearly there is a reduction of 21% in the Scope 2 emission
Goals for 2018-2019 - Reduce Scope 2 Gas emission by further 10% by reducing the consumption of electricity.
4a) To reduce use of electricity by at least 20%
The following ways are adapted
1) Using CFL (compact Fluorescent lamps) at our office.
2) Switch off lights when not in use
3) Switch off computers, monitors when not in use
4) No wastage of water
5) Levy penalties on staff who violate these rules of the company
Goals for 2018 - 2019 for Energy Conservation
Our goal is to further reduce consumption of electricity by another 10% by replacing all CFL bulbs to LED bulbs.
The details are as per 3a. It is clearly shown that there is a reduction of usage of electricity of 22% in the year 2018-19 as compared to 2016-2017.

4b) Waste Management & recycling
The Goal set for 2018-19 is to reduce generation of waste management by 20% compared to last year.
This is achieved by below points :
1) Using both sides of paper for printing at office so that reduces generating of waste.
2) Reduce consumption of plastic. We do not use plastic cups or plates for having coffee, tea, or food.
3) Extensive usage of email for sending quotations, purchase orders etc.,
4c) Green house gases are controlled by us in the following ways.
1) We have indoor plant in our office which is consumed green house gases like carbon dioxide & exits oxygen which is good for environment. (Images Enclosed)
2) Vehicle pooling is enforced within the organization. For e.g., two people are visiting different clients in same area, they go together in our vehicle. This saves petrol, which is good for environment & prevents emission of green house gases.
Goals for 2018-19 for reduction of Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions
Goals set for 2018-19 to reduce electricity by 10%
Therefore goal to reduce scope2 gas emission also is by 10%
